Hi All!
Hope you had a great Easter break and enjoyed a BBQ and a lot of chocolate! Mid-way through my breakfast of a chocolate bunny and choc-caramel eggs the other day, I realised that working off this year's Easter kilos wasn't going to be too hard thanks to my Gette! I can use as much energy as I want when I pedal, so I can work out and then cruise the rest of the way home.. Too easy!
If the Easter Bunny has caused you to feel a little gluggy, or Aunt Janey's pasta salad was just too good, then get an electric bike to help you exercise! Our electric bikes will push you up hills and let you cruise back home when you get tired. Or even if you don't feel like doing much exercise, go and enjoy being outdoors on your Gette and arrive at your destination, no sweat! You choose the power you want, it couldn't be easier!
This week here at Gette we're looking at participating in the Melbourne Ausbike Expo in August again this year (we went last year and had so much fun!). Lots of planning to do, but very excited! The expo gives people a chance to ride our bikes and experience the difference of an electric bike!

Hi again!
Lots of people have contacted me asking if it's okay to ride the electric bikes in the rainy and wet conditions.. the answer is YES! Of course! We know these bikes are the main mode of transport for a lot of our customers, so of course we made sure all the electric componenets of the bike are extremely well protected from Mother Nature, no need to worry!

Places to ride, people to meet!
Another busy week for Gette! We've driven our van around Adelaide to the warm and beachy Glenelg (maybe just for a few ice creams) down south to Reynella and up again to the CBD. We even scored a few waves from kids...does this mean we're celebrities?! Maybe not, but we are getting noticed. We pulled out the bikes and let locals take them for a test ride. We trust they come back to us and we haven't lost one yet (we've had a few instances where a very enthusiastic rider has been gone half an hour, but good on 'em!)
People come back from riding our electric bikes and exclaim "wow!" or "that's amazing!". We're not trying to boast, but it's hard to be modest when you have such an excellent product. Australians are realising the real benefits of electric bikes, especially for the environment. This is so good to see, we want more cars off the road and more Aussies keeping fit!
Going to head to some of our electric bike dealers soon and see how they're going. Lots of great feedback from everyone, so keep it up!

The start of Australia's favourtie ebike....
Gette Electric Bikes are now in blog-form to help you make informed decisions about purchasing electric bikes and also to keep you updated on what we have been up to here at Gette.
The Managing Director of Gette found the Gette bikes in France, being used as a mode of transport by the French Police (the French do all leisure activities well..food..wine..cycling..). Our MD loved the fact these european bikes have their technology perfected. With their motor designed by an Italian motorcycle company, these ebikes are in a different category to anything he'd seen before. So the MD tracked the wholesaler and bought them here, to Australia. Now with the brand name "Gette Electric Bikes" and a few extra special features and different models, Gette Bikes have begun to take off in Australia. We are becoming a recognised and trusted name in the ebike industry as we understand the importance of developing a reliable product and relationship with our customers. Our bikes are used as the main source of transport by many of our customers, so we take our business very seriously and only offer the best technology such as a lithium battery and brushless motor.
Since our beginining we have participated in events such as the Melbourne Ausbike Expo, Gear Up Girls Adelaide, Ride Like Crazy South Australia, the Adelaide Moving City event, and Melbourne's extremely popular Sustainable Living Festival. All have been great fun! From men on stilts riding our bikes, to Premier Mike Rann getting photographed next to one, we've had it all happen!
(We're just planning some more events in the near future..so if you've heard of any that we should be apart of, let us know!)
On a different note, I have seen two Gette Bikes in the past week on the roads and one out the front of Woolworths in Adelaide. It's definitely a great feeling to see our bikes out and about! If you want to ride a Gette then head to one of our dealers and take one out for a test ride!
